What is Jhatka Meat?

Jhatka is a method in which an animal/bird is rendered lifeless instantly with a single strike ( We use Hydraulic Machines).  Jhatka is less painful and a much more humane way of slaughter.

Is there GST?

There is no  Goods and Service Tax applicable on Fresh, Chilled Meat.

How can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order at any point until it is out for delivery and your money will be refunded to your original source of payment. It will be initiated instantly at the time of cancellation and credited to your payment source within 7 business days. Please note that once your order is out for delivery, it cannot be cancelled or refunded irrespective of the mode of payment.

Do I need to register or create an account before making a purchase?

Yes, it’s mandatory. You need to create an Account to make a purchase.

How long does it take to deliver my order?

Scheduled Delivery orders will be delivered according to the time slot selected by you. 

I'm unable to apply a coupon code to my order.

Coupon codes are not applicable on discounted products unless specified otherwise. 

I'm able to apply the coupon code but the discount percentage is not getting applied to my entire cart.

Discount percentages are valid on products which qualify for the offer and will get applied only to the amount corresponding to the sum of these products.

Am I entitled to Free Delivery while promotional offers are running?

Delivery charges are extra (unless specified otherwise). Offers mentioned will be at a product level only.

There’s an error that keeps popping up every time I checkout.

An error message at checkout could mean a few things. Make sure your billing information is correct. This includes the card number, expiration date and CVC security code. If your card has expired or has an invalid expiration date, the payment won’t go through and you may receive an error message.

My item arrived damaged or defective. What should I do?

Meat products can only be returned if:

1. It’s delivered after the expiry date.

2. The package has been altered or damaged during transit.

3. The item delivered is not what you had placed an order for.

Is Meamo available across the country?

We currently operate in Bangalore. You can be rest assured we will be commencing our operations in all leading cities shortly.

How do I place my order?

You can place an order from our Mobile App, Website.

How can I track my order?

You can track your order through the order tracking link attached to your order.

I would like to see my previous orders.

You can find your previous order information by logging into your Meamo Account. Choose ’Order History’ for a list of all successful orders placed under your account. For any order related questions, you can contact customer care at namaste@meamo.in

What modes of payment do you accept?

We accept online payments through all major credit & debit cards, NEFT, UPI. The payment has to be made in India Rupees, as per the final invoice.

What happens in case of a payment failure?

In case of any payment failures and charges incurred refund will be routed through the vendor’s payment gateway. Refund is back to source only and subject to third party vendor’s policy. Payment to other than customer account/third party payment is not permitted under Prevention of Money Laundering Act.

I have a quality concern. What do I do?

From Farm to delivery to your door step we take utmost care to ensure you receive the best of quality meat. However, if you still feel that there’s a lapse in quality from our end, you can contact us at namaste@meamo.in.

Do you charge for the delivery?

A flat delivery charge of Rs.40(including GST) is applicable on all deliveries. Currently, the charges are 35/- per delivery and these charges are waived off when the order value exceeds 299/-. However Meamo reserves the right to change the delivery charges.

How do I change my address?

Go to your Account panel and just edit your address. Your default address will be updated automatically.

Can I order for a delivery to a different address?

Yes, you can add a new address in your Account panel. You can add and save as many addresses as you want to.

I have not received my order. Who do I contact?

Go to Order History under your Account and check the status of your order. If you still have any queries, then please contact us at namaste@meamo.in

I received an incomplete order.

I want to place a bulk order.

Yes, we do take bulk orders. Send us a mail to namaste@meamo.in and please specify the product(s), quantity, date and time that you require the order.

What is Meamo wallet?

Through Meamo wallet, you will be gaining points on your purchases or through promotions from Meamo. Each point in the Meamo wallet is equal to Rs. 1/-. Meamo reserves the right to cap the redeemable amount for each transaction. The current redeemable amount is capped at Rs. 100/- per purchase. This Meamo cash in the Meamo wallet can be used only to purchase products on the Meamo website and Apps

How does the referral system work?

Share your referral code with your friends. When your friend completes their first order, Meamo cash worth 250/- will be added to your Meamo wallet and 125/- will be added to the Meamo wallet of your friend who has made the purchase. This Meamo cash in the Meamo wallet can be used only to purchase products on the Meamo website and Apps. However Meamo reserves all rights to changes to the referral program.

Can I apply multiple coupons on a single order?

No, you cannot club different coupons on a single order. Only one offer is applicable for a single order.

How do I find out the nutritional information about the product?

Fresh meat has standard nutritional information that doesn’t vary much. We have it listed on our website for certain products. If you need exact details about the product, you can write to us at namaste@meamo.in.

What do you mean by ‘Whole Fish’?

The Whole Fish is cleaned of scales, gutted, and washed in cold water. The fish is not cut into steaks, or filleted. It’s ready to cook right away.

What do you mean by ‘Fillets’?

Fillet is the meat of fish without bones. Just plain champion meat.

What do you mean by ‘Steaks’?

A fish steak (also known as fish cutlet) is a cut of fish wherein the cut is made perpendicular to the spine. Depending on the fish it can either be boneless or with bones.

What is the difference between Whole and Tail-on Prawn?

The Whole Prawn comes with its head, shell and tail.

The Tail-on Prawn comes to you shelled, deveined with its head removed, and with its tail on to give you that tantalizing crunch.

Promocode is applicable only on sea food products. Coupon is valid for deliveries accepted before end of day 30th Jan 2022. Maximum discount is limited to Rs 1000/- or for Max of six packets of fish products (Whichever is lower). Coupon can be used only once per customer.
